The Federal Tax Authority in Abu Dhabi has started early registration for corporate tax through the EmaraTax platform, as part of the Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 on the Taxation of Corporations and Businesses.
The early registration period is available from January to May 2023 for selected companies and they will be notified by email and SMS.
The registration for other companies and businesses will be announced later by the FTA. The Director General of the FTA, Khalid Ali Al Bustani, stated that the Authority is dedicated to supporting business sectors in complying with tax regulations and ensuring efficient, accurate, and seamless administrative procedures.
